Privacy notice

Thought Vault is a personal blog published by Mira from Jurong West and Boon Lay, Singapore. This notice explains how information is handled when you read thoughtvault.life.

The property is not a shop, clinic portal, agency site, or corporate brochure. Pages are static files without login gates, comment threads, newsletter boxes, or contact forms.

Because there is no form on this site, no name, email address, or message content is collected through the website itself. Correspondence happens only when you choose to write to me directly.

Hosting providers may log connection metadata for security: IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and time of request. Those logs rotate automatically and are not merged with cookie values to profile readers.

Optional cookies on your device are limited to exactly two names: tv_consent for banner choices and tv_reading for text size when preference storage is allowed. No analytics cookies are set by these templates.

tv_consent remembers whether you accepted, rejected, or customised embed and preference toggles. The value shape is v1|p=<0|1>|e=<0|1>|d= with a lifetime of roughly six months and path=/ scope.

tv_reading holds text size step one to three only when preferences are allowed. It never records which note you opened. Rejecting preferences clears any stored reading value.

Rejecting cookies blocks Google map embeds until you tap show map once per page view. Rejecting also prevents remembering reading size on later visits, though size still works for the current visit.

Every content page carries a Google Maps iframe centred on the neighbourhood at zoom fourteen or fifteen, never a street-precise pin on my flat. When a map loads, Google may receive IP address, browser information, and the page URL under its own policy.

Switching embedded maps off in the cookie banner replaces every iframe with a placeholder showing the neighbourhood name, postal address, and a button to load the map for the current visit only without storing a new choice.

Fonts load from Google servers which may see IP addresses during delivery. Block font requests in browser settings if you prefer system defaults.

Email to [email protected] is stored like normal correspondence in a personal inbox and is never published, sold, or added to a mailing list. No mailing list exists on thoughtvault.life.

No analytics script, advertising pixel, social widget, or fingerprinting code runs in these templates. Traffic counts are not displayed publicly and popularity is not measured here.

Under Singapore PDPA you may ask what data I hold from direct contact, request corrections, or clear optional cookies in browser settings. Write to [email protected] with thoughtvault.life in the subject line.

Minors should browse with guardians. Delete accidental child emails by notifying [email protected] and they will be removed promptly.

Retention is informal for mail and timed for cookies at roughly one hundred eighty days unless cleared sooner in browser site settings.

Cross-border CDNs may process requests outside Singapore. Vendors are chosen for basic security statements only; I do not resell logs to brokers.

Security fits a static site: no visitor database, no upload forms, HTTPS where configured, SameSite=Lax cookies, and minimal JavaScript limited to consent, map gating, and reading comfort.

Policy updates appear on this URL with footer build dates. Larger changes will be visible before taking effect whenever timing allows.

Automated scraping at abusive volume may be blocked at the host without individual notice to protect uptime for human readers.

External links have their own policies once you leave thoughtvault.life. I do not control third-party sites linked from notes.

Without JavaScript, pages remain readable though cookie controls and map gating need scripts to save choices across visits.

Backups on my devices exclude visitor cookies because none are stored server-side by this static build.

Valid legal requests would be reviewed under applicable law with notice where permitted.

Photos are generated textures without identifiable neighbours unless noted in text. Synthetic JPG files stand in for candid street photos to protect passerby privacy.

Error pages do not add tracking beyond ordinary access logs kept by the hosting provider.

Printing pages is allowed. Maps may omit on paper unless embeds were allowed in that browser session.

Translations are unofficial if they appear accidentally during edits; English controls if versions differ.

No moderators operate forums here because public forums are not hosted on the domain.

Device classes may appear in coarse host logs I do not routinely inspect for personal profiling.

Health, financial, or political registrations are not collected through forms because forms are absent entirely.

Maintenance downtime may occur without email alerts because no subscriber list exists to notify.

Statutory consumer and privacy rights remain unaffected by this plain-language summary.

Contact by email is voluntary. The address appears on the reach or letter page and in the footer as plain text and as a mailto link without prefilled tracking tokens.

Telephone contact is optional and uses a tel link on the contact page for readers who prefer voice coordination during reasonable hours in Singapore time.

Postal contact is listed for completeness. Parcels and letters are handled like ordinary residential mail without a commercial reception desk.

I do not operate comment threads, reaction buttons, subscriber lists, or member areas that would store visitor identities on the server.

Reading comfort on the home note adjusts type size in three steps. Preference memory depends on the optional reading cookie described above.

Cookie banner copy is identical on every content page and reopens from the footer so choices can change without hunting for hidden links.

If you block all cookies in browser settings, pages remain readable though maps stay as placeholders until you tap show map once per visit.

I keep Thought Vault as a personal blog. Lines here are mine — not instructions for medicine, law, money, fitness or newsrooms. When a jot nears trouble nearby, I limit myself to distance and weather — never journalism, never facts I lack.

Thought Vault is kept by Mira in Jurong West. Reach me at Blk 819 Jurong West Street 81, #06-14, Singapore 640819, +65 6458 2731, or [email protected]. Reading hours are early mornings and late evenings, Singapore time.

The binder layout uses tv_consent and tv_reading only. Customise reveals two tick boxes controlled by buttons, not forms. Save writes the combination you picked.

Jurong West and Boon Lay appear in notes as ordinary neighbourhood texture, not as data collection targets.

For map embed details see /cookies.php. For reading comfort see the banner controls.

I do not combine server logs with cookie values to profile visitors.

Correspondence is never published without permission.

Children should browse with guardians.

Updates appear here with footer build dates.

Server logs rotate on a schedule set by the hosting provider without my daily review.

Email threads shrink when conversations feel complete rather than on a fixed calendar.

Optional cookies expire after roughly six months unless cleared sooner in browser settings.

Map placeholders show the neighbourhood name and postal address when embeds are switched off.

Reading comfort works during the visit even when preference storage is rejected.

I do not sell, rent, or trade visitor information because none is collected beyond optional device cookies.

Third-party font requests may log IP addresses under Google connection policies separate from mine.

Backups on my editing devices exclude server-side visitor profiles because none exist on static hosting.

Lawful disclosure requests would be reviewed individually with notice where permitted by applicable rules.

Scraping at abusive volume may trigger automated blocks protecting uptime for ordinary readers.
